  • From this perspective BuzzTalk not only will tell the analyst where to look next, it subsequently also supports him in doing so.

Crowd Sourced Learning is at the heart of BuzzTalk. It’s this human centered component that ensures only quality informative and educational websites are added.

  • Content Discovery with BuzzTalk

Everyday more content gets published onto the web. It is estimated that web content doubles every two years. People try to find the most relevant and newsworthy content via search engines and blogs, but you have to know what to look for and where.

Traditional search engines like Google have an algorithm that will keep the top 10 for each search term pretty static. You’ll have to turn to news sites to find the new articles.

We need new ways to search for and discover new and relevant content.

  • BuzzTalk enables you to slice and dice articles

BuzzTalk presents a list of articles in chronological order based on publication date. This list grows each day. What’s revolutionary is that you can sort and filter this list based on a variety of criteria such as sentiment, mood state, happenings etc. The wide range of factual OpenCalais tags enables you to drill down and limit your search results. This way you can experience the wealth of real time information without the pain of information overload.

For example, you easily can find all publications within your theme that relate to product releases, employment changes, merger & acquisitions and many more.

BuzzTalk presents a new way of finding content

The biggest difference between a traditional search engine and a discovery engine such as BuzzTalk, is that search engines list all results for a specific search whereas BuzzTalk allows you to monitor topic-specific developments within your search.

BuzzTalk collects all text documents from over 58.000 of the most active websites around the globe, two third are news sites and one third are blog sites. The authors of these documents are mainly journalists and opionion leaders respectively. The total number of monitored websites will continue to grow via Crowd Sourced Learning and manual additions.
